A To Do list for a Research Administrator is like a master chef weilding a steak knife—its a brilliant and skilled person with an extremely versatile and powerful, but it still requires careful handling! No matter how many years you’ve been doing it
Every day, we’re swamped with tasks that can range from managing a deluge of emails—like an RA I spoke with who tackled over 2000 in one week!—to handling unexpected shifts in both life and work that derail our progress. It’s a role filled with constant variety and ongoing learning. Every new problem is an opportunity to make a friend, build our community, and, enjoy the ride together. But at the same time, it’s also the same recipe for overwhelm and exhaustion.

In this video, I share some tweaks to your daily to-do list routine that can transform it from organizing your tasks to a progress maker.
I’d love to hear how you’ve turned your to-do lists into powerful allies. Sharing strategies might just be the key to our collective success—because isn’t crowdsourcing often the best solution? It is for me lol, I struggle massively with blank slate syndrome.
